Yoga for Kids
Calm ‘n Sense Yoga for Kids helps children connect to themselves, to others, and to the environment in playful and interactive ways. Yoga for children has numerous benefits which include increased body awareness, self-regulation, relaxation, and self confidence, all contributing to a feeling of wellbeing. Classes involve breath work, yoga poses, games, and activities presented in a small group setting, with attention paid to each child’s unique development.
Cathy Spack, M.A., is a yoga teacher certified with YogaKids, Itsy Bitsy Yoga, Rainbow Kids Yoga, and mini yogis – yoga for kids. She has attended workshops with Yoga for the Special Child, Every Kid's Yoga - Teaching Yoga to Children with Special Needs, YogaBuds, Yoga 11, Therapeutic Yoga for Children, and Karma Kids Yoga. Cathy is also a speech-language pathologist working in private practice.
